THE POSITION

Full time Sales Manager position must focus on seeking new opportunities for profitable growth

within the target vertical markets, including frozen seafood commodity (wholesale grocers and

foodservice) and frozen seafood value added meals (retailers) by product placement, branding

and promoting.

This position needs someone who has experience in working towards sales targets and has a

proven track record.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 Development and execution of integrated sales and marketing plans

 Day-to-day management of sales/marketing programs and client management

 Provide weekly plan on Monday and weekly report on Friday

 Manage program timelines

 Manage program budgets

 Manage and coordinate staff and local contracted support staff

 Work directly with account management and interface with local client contacts to

manage in market events activations

 Program reporting and recapping

 Develop Standard Operating Procedures for own division

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

 Provide recommendations to the company, including measurement, quantification and

evaluation of the success of various marketing, retail and supply chain initiatives

 Identify customer/category trends, cross-category dynamics, department best practices,

consumer purchasing insights, customer business results, category management and

opportunities for growth

 Assist in project management and information resources

 Present and develop marketing plans for products and services

 Facilitate the integration of category insights for brand and customer planning

 Grow the business through the successful roll-out of new and innovative products and

services in both existing and new markets

 Work as a team to achieve business goals

 A self-starter who seeks new ways to add value

 Experience in Frozen Food Industry (wholesale, retail, value chain, business process)

ideally with Frozen Seafood

 Analyze market to understand business performance and contribute strategic insight

 Develop new item and core distribution guidance based on category and shopper

insights

 Research and provide consumer and market trends information

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Customer focus, tracking budget expenses, pricing, vendor relationships, market knowledge,

strategic planning, client relationships and excellent verbal communication.

 Minimum 3 years experience in the wholesale market

 Strong managerial skills with ability to coach and train

 Good communication skills

 Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to analyze problems and

develop creative solutions
